On the morning of August 19, 2025, Rạch Miễu 2 Bridge – a key project linking Tiền Giang and Bến Tre (now Đồng Tháp and Vĩnh Long) – was officially inaugurated and opened to traffic, nearly five months ahead of schedule.
The project has a total investment of over VND 6,810 billion. The entire route stretches about 17.6 km, with the main bridge being a nearly 2 km-long cable-stayed bridge providing a navigational clearance of over 37 meters. It is considered one of the largest bridges in the Mekong Delta, entirely designed and constructed by Vietnamese engineers.
As one of the main contractors, Đạt Phương Group made significant contributions to the successful completion of this strategic infrastructure landmark. From the very beginning of construction in February 2023 to the finishing stage, the project management team worked closely with leadership to adhere to the schedule and steadily conquer each construction milestone to ensure both progress and quality. Key construction fronts, such as the P18, P20, and P21 tower foundations, posed major challenges due to their scale and strict technical requirements. Yet, with creativity, determination, and discipline, the team of engineers and workers completed these critical items in just eight months, cutting nearly 100 days off the schedule and paving the way for the early completion of the entire project.
Rạch Miễu 2 Bridge is among 250 projects nationwide launched in celebration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2). More than a national key project, it stands as a symbol of Vietnam’s aspiration for sustainable infrastructure development. By being completed almost half a year earlier than planned, this bridge across the Tiền River has helped resolve years of persistent traffic congestion in the area, while unlocking opportunities for tourism, trade, and socio-economic growth across the Mekong Delta.
The moment of inauguration was not only a joy for the people of the Southwest but also a source of pride for all Đạt Phương people. With yet another milestone conquered on the national infrastructure map, Đạt Phương takes one more step forward in affirming its capacity and determination on the journey of building modern urban transportation and shaping the future.
